Funding

At the heart of the Innovation Studio lie the ideas, companies and the projects that our community creates. Funding from Innovation Studio can support creative experimentation, skills development, and collaboration as you seek to grow the impact your project can make - for yourself, your local community or the wider world.

There is a total of £40,000 of funding available in two schemes:

•    Up to £4,000: Intended for ideas and propositions which have already taken some of their first steps and need more dedicated financial support for further development.  
•     Up to £1,000: Intended for very early-stage ideas. 

All RCS Students, Staff and Graduates (up to 3 years from date of graduation) are eligible to apply for funding.

Applications for Innovation Studio Funding will be accepted twice in the 2023 - 2024 Academic Year. Applications must be submitted before the following deadlines: 

• Friday 10 November 2023 at 17:00
• Friday 16 February 2024 at 17:00
