Innovation Studio is a resource for RCS students and staff.

We strive to unlock innovation potential within RCS.

We aim to bring new knowledge and expertise into RCS.

We support creative experimentation, collaboration, and interdisciplinary work.

We consider social and cultural innovation to be equal to economic innovation.

We bring together people from different departments and disciplines to learn from each other and share ideas.

Our community of practice is a supportive network of innovators.

Our community defines what innovation means to them.

We create space and time for innovation to emerge.

We provide seed funding and wraparound support.

We support new ways of working and thinking.

We like ideas that sit at the blurry edges.

We encourage our community to embrace creative chaos.

We celebrate taking a leap into the unknown.

We embrace ‘failing forward’.

Innovation Studio is constantly evolving.

We stay receptive to the needs of and feedback from our community.

We focus on depth of engagement, not breadth.

Access to Innovation Studio should be simple.

We work to reduce systemic barriers in the long term.

We engage external partners and seek input from outside RCS.

Innovation Studio paves the way for a future Centre for Innovation at RCS.
