Cove Park Staff Micro Residency

Innovation Studio is excited to offer a 4-day micro residency at Cove Park for RCS members of staff to develop an area of their work or creative practice. This is an opportunity for participants to step away from their daily responsibilities and focus on an idea or project they don’t currently have space for, reflect on their wider practice, or plan for the future.

Details

The residency is open to all staff who work at least 1 day a week at the Conservatoire (0.2 FTE or 7 hours per week), including teaching, research and professional services staff.

No detailed proposal is required at the time of application, but you should have a clear idea of what you wish to work on during the residency.

At previous residencies, participants composed new music, did deep-focus research, wrote a journal article, reviewed their approach to giving student feedback, and experimented with new voice techniques, among other things.

This is a solo residency (unfortunately, we cannot accept joint applications) with access to optional group activities where you can share ideas and inspiration with fellow participants.
